About the Campaign

“Know the RxSK Use with Caution” is a media and education campaign supported by public and private partners and designed to prevent and reduce the misuse and abuse of prescription pain medications in Northern Virginia (Alexandria, Arlington, Fairfax-Falls Church, Loudoun and Prince William). “Know the RxSK Use with Caution” provides information and strategies regarding safe use, safe storage and safe disposal. Efforts include a paid media campaign, online presence (website and social media), local community outreach and nontraditional public relations events.
